This Privacy Notice explains how Konec collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our app and related services. Konec is a countdown and reminder tool designed to help users create, save, review, and share countdown result cards for birthdays, travel, exams, holidays, anniversaries, and custom dates.
We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in a way that supports the app’s core features while respecting your privacy. This notice applies to information collected through the app, including information you provide directly, data generated by app features, and limited technical data needed to operate and secure the service.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data.
We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party.
We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.
We may use a limited number of third-party service providers only for infrastructure operations such as cloud storage, server hosting, logging infrastructure, or delivery of basic app services. These providers act solely on our behalf and under our instructions. They are bound by contractual obligations to protect data security and are not permitted to use user data for any purpose beyond what we instruct.
Third-party providers are not allowed to use data for advertising, user profiling, AI training, model optimization, independent access, redistribution, or their own purposes.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our app, legal requirements, or operational practices. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice in the app or through other reasonable means.
Your continued use of Konec after an updated notice becomes effective means you acknowledge the revised policy.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, as well as withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You may also request help with your account or content by contacting us at the email address listed in Section N. If you would like to delete content stored in your history, you may do so through the app where available, or by contacting support.
We will respond to verified requests in accordance with applicable law and operational limitations.
Information you provide: We may collect the event name, countdown type, target date, reminder time, notes, checklist items, and any cover image you choose to upload from your device camera or photo library. If you contact support, we may also collect the message content you send us.
Information collected automatically: We may collect technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, crash reports, diagnostic logs, performance data, and basic usage events needed to keep the app functioning properly.
Cookies and similar technologies: If web-based pages or embedded services are used, we may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality, security, and session management. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, restricted internal access, monitoring for abnormal activity, and secure infrastructure practices.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. However, we work to protect information using security measures appropriate to the nature of the data and the service.
Any AI-based processing used by Konec is performed exclusively on our own internal servers. We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data.
User data processed for AI-related app functions is handled only for the specific feature requested by the user and is deleted after processing is completed, unless it must be retained in your history or support records as described in this policy.
We do NOT use user data for model training, model fine-tuning, or model optimization. User-uploaded content, user-generated content, and related processing data are not used to build advertising profiles or to improve third-party systems.
Uploaded content: Cover images and other user-uploaded content are deleted after the requested processing is completed, unless you choose to keep the resulting card in your history.
Generated results: Countdown result cards may be stored in your history so you can review them again later. You may delete these items at any time through the app where available.
Temporary processing data: Temporary data used to create or prepare a result is deleted after the processing task is complete.
Crash logs: Crash reports and diagnostic logs may be retained for up to 12 months for debugging, stability, and security purposes.
Support messages: Messages sent to support may be retained for up to 6 months after the matter is resolved, unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary to protect our legal rights.
We may retain limited information for legal, security, fraud prevention, or compliance reasons where required.
Your information may be processed and stored in different countries or regions where we or our infrastructure providers operate. This means your data may be transferred outside your place of residence.
When such transfers occur, we take steps intended to protect the information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable legal requirements, including contractual protections with service providers where appropriate.
Konec is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17.
If we learn that we have collected information from a user under 17 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us using the email in Section N.
We use information only to operate, maintain, and improve Konec and its core features, such as creating countdown cards, saving history, enabling reminders, supporting user requests, and keeping the app secure and reliable.
We do NOT use user data for AI training. We do NOT use user data for advertising. We do NOT use user data for profiling. We do NOT sell user data.
We also do NOT use user-uploaded or user-generated content for unrelated purposes outside the service you requested.
Konec does NOT perform facial recognition, biometric analysis, or face-template creation.
If you upload an image, it is used only to support the feature you requested, such as generating or previewing a countdown result card. We do NOT create biometric identifiers or attempt to identify any person in the image.
Any face-related image data used during processing is deleted after processing is completed, unless you intentionally save the resulting card in your history.
By downloading, accessing, or using Konec, you agree to the collection, use, storage, and processing practices described in this Privacy Notice. If you do not agree with this policy, you should stop using the app.
Where consent is required by law for certain data processing activities, your use of those features and any affirmative action you take in the app may serve as your consent for that specific processing.
